The fishing wasn’t so hot, but the weekend was grand. I thought I would share some images from the trip. Enjoy.

Tomorrow is opening day for Trout fishing in most of Oregon. I find “Opening Day” kind of humorous.

Why?

Because I tend to fish rivers that don’t have a “season”.

But… I will be on a popular section of “Opening Day” river tomorrow night with my good friends Jon and Angela. We are planning on tying some flies around the camp fire on Saturday night and then floating the busy section of river on Sunday.

It will certainly be a great time. A report may follow.

Braden got a new camera the other day, so he and I decided to head downtown tonight and make some images. The sun had just went down, but there was enough light to allow us time to play.

Tomorrow we are planning on going back downtown again. The Earth Day celebration starts in the morning. It will include a parade and booths with information. It should make for a fun day. Any day spent with my kids is a good day, especially when we are sharing similar interests.

With the surprisingly warm weather this weekend, I decided to head into a favorite section of the Middle Deschutes and see what was going on. Well, the water was still too high to get into some of my favorite runs, so I spent a couple of hours just watching and listening. It was a well spent afternoon, even if the fishing wasn’t happening…
